Hair Extensions 101: All You Need To Know About Hair Extensions


1. How often should I wash my Kulry Curls clip-in hair extensions?

Since hair extensions do not receive natural oils from the scalp like our own hair, they do not need to be washed very often. We suggest only washing your Curlies every 15-20 wears or when there is too much product build-up and they become unmanageable to style. Please keep in mind that the less you wash your Curlies, the longer they will last you.

We highly recommend using sulfate-free and alcohol-free hair products, as these ingredients can dry the hair out, leading to frizzy, tangly hair. 

You can wash your Kurly Curls Hair extensions the same way you would your own hair, in a sink filled with water. Apply shampoo first, rinse off, then apply a generous amount of conditioner from top to bottom, working the product through the hair. Rinse off the conditioned, then rinse the extensions again in cold water to lock in moisture. Next, apply a deep conditioning hair mask throughout the extensions, to restore smoothness, nourishment, and shine.  Brush each weft with a wide tooth comb from bottom to top to work the hair conditioner through the hair and remove any tangles. Leave the hair conditioner in for at least 4-6 hours or overnight for best results! Finally lay each weft flat to air-dry on top of a towel on a flat surface.

5. Do Kurly Curls seamless clip-in hair extensions experience shedding?

Kurly Curls seamless clip-in Hair extensions will have some normal and expected hair-fallout just like any other clip ins. You can minimize shedding, by maintaining your clip-in hair extensions with utmost care, and gently brushing them before and after each use.

6. How long do Kurly Curls seamless clip-in hair extensions last?

The lifespan of our clip-in hair extensions is 3 months to 1 year depending on how often they are worn and how well they are taken care of.


7. Can I dye Kurly Curls seamless clip-in hair extensions?

If the hair texture you chose has the color options, then they can not been lightened or bleached because they have been dyed using permanent dyes, the color can hardly been bleached. But if the hair texture you chose has no color options except natural color, then it is okay to be dyed or bleached to achieve hair color you want. Normally bleaching is not recommended because it is a very damaging process and will lower the quality of your hair extensions and shorten their lifespan if you have not co-wash them properly. So It is advised to have a professional stylist dye them for the best results.

We realize that not everyone has the same hair texture and the key to natural looking human hair extensions, is to match the texture of the hair extension to your own natural hair. So we provide two different hair textures for you to choose as following:

We understand picking the right hair texture might be a bit difficult from a computer screen, so we are more than happy to accommodate exchanges of hair extensions that have NOT been opened, worn or tampered with.

  • You can contact with us at ( within 15 days after you received the item.

  • After we confirm your exchange request, we will give you a return address.

  • You are responsible for all exchange shipping costs, which is $20 or $30 (it depends on the shipping method you chose).

  • We will send you the new clip in hair extensions, after we received, inspected and confirmed that the returned extensions were not be opened, altered and undamaged.

We accept payment by PayPal, credit card and debit card.
All credit card, debit card and PayPal payments are processed through Paypal to ensure customer privacy and security.

11. How long does shipping usually take and do you ship worldwide?

Please understand that it will take us about 1-2 business days to process your order. We will email you a tracking number once your order ships. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery, even if your shipping is upgraded to express. Express shipping options and any other third-party fees are non-refundable. We cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by the carrier. Kindly note that if inaccurate or incomplete addresses are provided, or if there are unverified details with your order, it may delay processing by an additional 1-2 business days. We encourage all customers to thoroughly review their shipping and billing information prior to checking out to ensure any possible delays are avoided. our package may or may not require a signature. Most packages are delivered to the mailbox or front door of the address provided, however, it is up to the delivery courier to decide if the package is safe being left in the open. If they deem it unsafe, they will hold the package at a local post office or re-schedule another delivery. Our best recommendation is to input a shipping address where you know your or someone else will be available to accept the package (a work address or a friend's address).

Territories of the United States: For those who reside in a territory of the United States that we ship to, as well as Hawaii and Alaska orders, please allow anywhere between 5-15 business days for your order to reach your destination. 

State of New York: If you opt for Same-Day Delivery or 2-Day Shipping at checkout, your order will ship via DHL Metro. The order cut-off time for Same-Day Delivery is 10:30AM EST. If you place your order after 10:30AM EST and choose Same-Day Delivery at checkout, your order will be shipped and delivered the following business day. Please note, Same-Day Delivery is only available Monday-Friday.

P.O. Boxes: We can ship to P.O. boxes, however, please only select standard shipping at check-out as carriers will not express ship to them.



International customers (outside of the United States) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees which your local Customs authority deems appropriate. These fees are paid to your local carrier or government and are not collected by Luxy Hair, and thus cannot be refunded. 

We ship international packages DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), meaning that these fees are not included in the price of the goods you purchase from our website. All applicable fees must be paid by the recipient in order to receive the parcel. As we are unable to advise the amount of what these fees might be, we recommend to contact your country's customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates on a package coming outside of your country.

Please note that DHL pays on your behalf for any duties and taxes that are due on the goods, as soon they enter the country. This simple process ensures that the courier can deliver your package in shortest possible transit time. The goods are released to you only upon the full repayment of any duties and taxes that were paid on your behalf. On some occasions, you may receive an invoice from DHL after the delivery of goods, for the charges they have paid on your behalf at destination, plus a small administration fee. 


It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that she or he enters the shipping address correctly.

Extra Shipping Charges: If you upgraded your shipping and the package was returned to us due to an incorrect address and if you would like a refund, you will not be reimbursed for the upgraded shipping fees.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been processed to the e-mail address provided at the time of checkout, which can take up to 48 hours. You will receive a second e-mail once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number and a link to follow the journey of your package. If there is a problem with your tracking number or package delivery, please contact the courier directly prior to contacting us. Please allow 1 - 4 days for the tracking information to show. In some rare case, the tracking information may not update but you will still receive your order. Please contact us after the estimated delivery time.
